This drafting stool/task chair is very good quality for the price. The directions for converting the task chair into a taller drafting chair utilizing the foot-ring and extension could be a little more user friendly, but we got it figured out and we're very happy with the result. You can't go wrong with this chair for an average weight person.

The seat itself became totally deformed in less than four months--completely flat on the left side and pumped up on the right side. My back started hurting after a few hours of using this thing. And it's not that I'm overweight, I'm 180 lbs, way below the maximum allowed for this chair. The rest of the chair is ok, nothing too fancy, just acceptable for the price. But the seat cushion is of subpar quality. Don't buy it.
